Dr. Gillen has published seven books and more than a dozen articles on modern fiction and drama. He is editor of The Pinter Review, an international scholarly publication produced by UT.
Professional and Community Activities:
Dr. Gillen is an authority on British playwright Harold Pinter, author of The Homecoming and the screenplay of The French Lieutenant's Woman and arguably the most important dramatist of the late 20th century. Dr. Gillen has taught and spoken extensively on the Czech playwright, philosopher and Czech Republic President Vaclav Havel.
