Dr. Chipouras specializes in the physiological ecology of estuarine and coastal organisms and the systems ecology of estuarine and coastal habitats. Professional and Community Activities:
Dr. Chipouras is president of the Southeastern Estuarine Research Society (SEERS) and is a member of the Estuarine Research Federation, the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology, the American Fisheries Society, and the Estuarine and Coastal Sciences Association. He has authored or co-authored and presented more than two dozen papers in his field.
