UT Ethics Bowl Team Takes Second Place in Southeast Championship

The University of Tampa’s Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl (IEB) team recently took second place out of 20 universities at the Southeast Regional Ethics Bowl.

The team finished with a record of 4-1, defeating Auburn University, the University of Central Florida, Wake Forest University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The team’s only loss, in the championship round, was to the U.S. Naval Academy.

The UT team members included Selena Little ’21, Ann Margaret Kennedy ’19, Ioana Zanchi ’18, Tiffany Maziarz ’21, Olivia Descala ’18 and Rahal Wijewardene ’19.

The competition was held on Nov. 4 at the EpiCenter at St. Petersburg College.

The team will advance to the Association of Practical and Professional Ethics (APPE) IEB national championship on March 3-4 in Chicago.
