“Effortless Entrepreneur” to Share His Insights at UT Oct. 7

Nick Friedman, who co-founded the College Hunks Hauling Junk franchise while he was still a college student, will speak at The University of Tampa on Monday, Oct. 7.

Friedman’s talk, “Work Smart, Play Hard, Get in the Game,” part of the TECO Center for Leadership Speaker Series, begins at 4:30 p.m. in the Sykes College of Business, Room 134. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited.

College Hunks Hauling Junk is the largest and fastest-growing U.S.-based junk removal and moving franchise opportunity. Friedman started the business in college with his childhood best friend, Omar Soliman, with just a beat up cargo van. Since then, College Hunks Hauling Junk has grown to more than 40 franchise locations nationwide.

Friedman has been named to Inc. magazine’s “30 Under 30” list and one of the “30 Most Influential Under30CEOs” by Under30CEO.com. He recently co-authored his first bestselling book with his business partner, Effortless Entrepreneur: Work Smart, Play Hard, Make Millions.

The TECO Center for Leadership Speaker Series is dedicated to bringing outstanding leaders from the private, government and nonprofit sectors to campus to discuss business topics and corporate strategies with students and members of the community.

Please RSVP by Friday, Oct. 4, at www.ut.edu/cfl/speakerseries. For more information, contact Melissa Flohr, coordinator of centers and institutes, at mflohr@ut.edu or (813) 257-3782.
