Florida Public Health Review

The Florida Public Health Review was begun in 2004 through a cooperation of the University of South Florida College of Public Health and the Florida Public Health Association, with Dr. Robert J. McDermott as founding editor.

Beginning in August 2013, the Review is being housed at and published under the auspices of The University of Tampa, College of Natural and Health Sciences, and edited in the Department of Health Sciences and Human Performance.

Since Sept. 12, 2008, the Florida Public Health Review has been indexed in Global Health and CABI Full Text. The Review offers an electronic online journal of practice, original research and other scholarship of interest and relevance to Florida's public health practitioner and academic communities. The Review is intended to enable rapid communication with publication upon completion of editorial and refereed approval. The opinions expressed by the authors of articles, letters and other materials published in the Florida Public Health Review are not necessarily those of the Florida Public Health Association or The University of Tampa. The Review will consider publishing commentaries related to previously published papers and will offer the authors an opportunity to respond.
