The second annual Tom Fitzgerald Memorial Soccer Festival on Sunday,
Feb. 12, at Art and Polly Pepin Stadium, will feature a youth clinic, a
coaching symposium and two games starring some of the nation’s best
professional and amateur soccer athletes.
The fundraiser, known
as the “Fitz Festival,” will honor former UT Men’s Soccer Coach Tom
Fitzgerald, who was known for his success with UT, UCLA and the MLS
team Columbus Crew before his death in late 2004.
Schedule:
11 a.m.-2 p.m. – Youth Soccer and Goalkeeper Clinic (Ages 6-14)
$50
per child (includes game tickets; please register in addition to buying

2 p.m.-3 p.m. – Coaching Symposium (Hosted by U.S. Soccer Staff Coach Jay Miller)
4 p.m. – MetroStars vs. U.S. Under-17 National Team
6: 30 p.m. – Columbus Crew vs. Real Salt Lake City
Game
ticket prices: adults (18 and older), $12; youth (12-17), $7; and kids
(under 12), $5. All proceeds will benefit the Tom Fitzgerald Memorial
