The public is invited to the Scarfone/Hartley Galleries for an opening
reception honoring University of Tampa art students in the Annual Juried Student
Exhibition, Friday, April 9, 7-9 p.m.
Lynn Whitelaw, director of Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art, will present $3,000
in cash awards to students for outstanding artwork in the exhibition.
Each year, the exhibition offers the public an opportunity to view fresh and
innovative work created by students. Recent works include paintings, drawings,
prints, photographs, ceramics, mixed media and sculpture.
The exhibition will continue through Thursday, April 29.
The Scarfone/Hartley Galleries are located on the UT campus at the corner of
Brevard and North B streets. Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 1-4
p.m. Saturday (closed on national holidays). Admission is free.
