The Bay
Area Saxophone Quartet invites the public to a free one-hour concert celebrating
the group’s 20th anniversary on Friday, Nov. 22, at 7:30 p.m.
For two decades, Jay B. Starkey, Terry Mohn, James Burge and Ted Hope have
performed in venues throughout the region. Their anniversary show will be in
the new Allen N. Reeves Theater in the Vaughn Center.
The group’s musical selections embrace numerous styles and eras, from
classical composers such as Bach and Pierne, to contemporary, popular, and jazz,
including works by Rogers and Hart, and Joplin.
