The University of Tampa women's crew coach Bill Dunlap won three gold medals
at the Master's World Rowing Championships, held on September 1-2 in Montreal,
Quebec, Canada. Coach Dunlap won gold in the over 43 eight oared race, and in
the over 50 four and eight oared races. Coach Dunlap's victories raise his total
to eight career gold medals. His club won nine races and tied with Moscow for
the most gold medals at the races.
Coach Dunlap rows for the Palm Beach Rowing Association. He races with Jim
Green, from West Palm Beach, FL, Duncan Spencer, from Washington D.C., and Chris
Ives, from New York. Next year's Master's Championships will be held in the
Czech Republic.
