Information about The University of Tampa’s new nursing degrees and
programs will be presented at a free Nursing Department Information
Session on Thursday, Jan. 4 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Plant Hall
Grand Salon.
Highlights will include details about the new
MSN/MBA joint degree, RN/BSN and RN/BSN/MSN programs, as well as MSN
concentrations in family nurse practitioner, adult nurse practitioner
and administration. Following the information session will be a free
domestic violence update workshop where participants can earn one
contact hour.
Only registered nurses who want to complete the
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Nursing degree are invited
to attend.
Any visiting student interested in the BSN is
encouraged to bring her or his nursing license and completed
applications, as well as transcripts and test scores from all colleges
and universities attended, to receive an "instant admissions decision."
Any
student interested in the MSN may bring her or his nursing license,
completed application, transcripts and test scores from all colleges
and universities attended, resume, two professional letters of
reference, and a personal statement for an interview and an "instant
admissions decision."
Those attending will have an opportunity to meet UT faculty and staff and find answers to their financial aid concerns.
