Meet Alaina Rahaim

Career Specialties: Alaina Rahaim is a National Certified Counselor (NCC). In her role at UT, she supports juniors, seniors and undergraduate alumni through collaborative appointments focusing on strategic networking, interview preparation, tailored resume and cover letter development, and targeted job searches. Additionally, she facilitates several professional development events and various class presentations. Rahaim also designs and leads career readiness programs that develop students’ ability to recognize their unique, transferrable skills and articulate their Spartan Ready competencies to employers.
Prior to joining UT, Rahaim worked at Florida State University where she counseled high school students, undergraduate and graduate students, alumni and community members throughout each stage of the career development process. She also co-instructed the Career Development course and led tailored presentations for organizations across campus. Rahaim is energized by finding creative ways to engage with individuals and is enthusiastic about inspiring others to explore, experience and achieve their career goals.
Professional and Community Activities: Rahaim is involved in the National, Southern and Florida Association(s) of Colleges and Employers. She is also a member of the National Career Development Association and the Colleges of Central Florida Career Consortium. In her free time, she enjoys participating in community theatre, learning about history, visiting Disney and playing with her sugar glider.
