Career Specialties: Aaron Brown's research and career has focused on improving ecosystem restoration techniques, with an emphasis on created coastal wetlands.
Professional and Community Activities: As a restoration ecologist, Brown's focus has been on improving ecosystem design to optimize functionality. His research has evaluated how design variables and changing landscapes affect created systems over time. Brown is currently honored to serve as the co-chair of the Tampa Bay Estuary Program's (TBEP) Technical Advisory Committee and as a member of TBEP's Management Board. He is also a founding member of the Southwest Florida Water Management District Habitat Restoration Committee.
