Louis Zmich's research interests comprise three broad categories (1) social media and the influencer–sponsor selling relationship, (2) salesperson influence tactics and the mental health and wellbeing change associated with digital media and (3) the personal selling and the salesperson–customer dyadic relationship.
Professional and Community Activities
Zmich's research is published in The Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management, The Journal of Macromarketing, The Journal of Consumer Behaviour, The Journal of Marketing Education and The Journal of Selling.
He also routinely volunteers as a guest editor for The Academy of Marketing Science, The American Marketing Association and The National Conference in Sales Management. His collaborative research has been recognized as the best paper by The American Marketing Association Marketing for Higher Education special interest group.
Along with Zmich's academic career, he is the academic advisor for the Eta Rho chapter of Delta Sigma Pi and sits on the Sustainability and the Faculty Awards and Research Committees.
