Hein Jung specializes in opera, oratorio and recital. She has performed throughout the U.S. as well as internationally in Seoul, South Korea; Montreal, Canada; and Pamplona, Spain.Professional and Community Activities
Jung was selected as a fellow in two prestigious programs: Tanglewood and the San Francisco Opera’s Merola Program. During the Tanglewood season, she performed with the internationally renowned Mark Morris Dance Group as a guest soloist as well as in acclaimed soprano Dawn Upshaw’s cabaret recital and had a lead role in Zuidam’s world premier opera. In the Merola Program, she sang the role of Lucia in “Rape of Lucretia” and appeared as a soloist with San Francisco Opera Orchestra in “The Grand Final Concert.”Jung has also performed with the Madison Opera, the Bel Canto Chorus, the Racine-Kenosha Symphony, and the Milwaukee Symphony.
Her opera credits include Romilda in “Serse,” Fiordiligi in “Cosi Fan Tutte,” and Blanche in “Dialogue of Carmelites.” Jung has also been a soloist in oratorios such as Mozart’s “C Minor Mass” and Poulenc’s “Gloria.”
